Hi! I'm Daisy, a student at Cornell University majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. I’ve been tutoring math for nearly five years, working with students from elementary school all the way through high school, including SAT math prep.
My tutoring journey started back in high school through our math club, where I helped organize and lead tutoring sessions for students across all grade levels. That experience taught me how different each student’s learning style can be, and I’ve carried that with me ever since. Whether it's breaking down long division for a third grader or walking through complex algebra problems with a junior in high school, I’ve worked with a wide range of learners and know how to adapt my approach to meet their needs.
I believe in making math clear, less intimidating, and even fun. Every student is different, so I focus on creating personalized strategies that build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and help students see real improvement—whether that’s raising a test grade or simply feeling less stressed about homework.
I’ve tutored in both one-on-one settings and small groups, both in person and online, and I always make sure everyone feel supported, understood, and motivated.
If you're looking for a tutor who’s not only strong in math, but also genuinely invested in your child’s progress, I’d love to connect. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to set up a session!
