Hello! Let me introduce myself. I am Erik and I have tutored math for many years starting as a college student. I have a master's in math and I am currently teaching undergraduate students at a U.S. college. Students that visit me in my office seeking math help have provided me with a lot of experience teaching on an one-on-one basis over the years. My main motivation for tutoring is that I really enjoy teaching. I love the challenge of explaining math in an easy to understand manner that helps you accomplish your goals. It has been my experience that anyone can understand math if explained properly and clearly.

I always base my tutoring sessions on the student's individual needs. Generally speaking, in most cases I will first explain the subject in an unhurried, clear manner, and then let the student practice. It has been my experience that practicing with the one-on-one assistance of a tutor brings the best results. I use creative and easy to understand methods and I make every effort to make tutoring a pleasant experience.
