I’m Dani! I’m a licensed educator and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, graduating magna cum laude, and have spent the past fourteen years teaching students from kindergarten through sixth grade. While I have experience across grade levels and subjects, much of my classroom focus has been in fourth and fifth grade with an emphasis on math instruction. That experience has given me a deep understanding of how foundational skills build from year to year and where students most often begin to struggle.
Over the course of my career, I have worked with students at a wide range of ability levels, helping them strengthen skills in math, reading, writing, and academic organization. I specialize in breaking complex concepts into clear, manageable steps so students develop real understanding and confidence rather than relying on memorization or short-term fixes. Whether a student is working through multi-step math problems, improving comprehension, or preparing for an upcoming assessment, I focus on helping them think through their work with clarity.
My approach is structured, calm, and encouraging. I quickly identify skill gaps, create targeted support, and provide consistent communication so parents know exactly how their child is progressing. My goal is not just to help students complete assignments, but to equip them with the tools, confidence, and independence they need to succeed across subjects.
