I have about 10 years of professional tutoring experience, both in a tutoring center helping three students at once, and for years as a private tutor. I love the practicality of tutoring one-on-one in my client's home, but am flexible and have experience online as well.

I'm a hard worker, and love to push my limits (for instance, on a tricky, high-difficulty AP Physics word problem), but I never get bored of helping students see mathematics from a fresh angle, and am especially pleased when someone asks a tough question or tries to think around the standard methods. If you want to question everything, take the time you need to struggle through a topic without feeling rushed or belittled, or just want a deep introduction to even the simplest concepts, we might be an especially great fit.

I've always had a very personal love of math and the sciences, but my degree from ITT Tech is in Multimedia, and creative expression is also a big part of who I am. I've tutored almost every subject offered in most high schools over the course of my life, but I feel that I am best qualified to teach, encourage, and motivate in the areas I love most. I program games for fun, love philosophy and theology (and love God!), and pretty much enjoy working with any subject that I can see from a logical angle.

I find the flexibility of tutoring advantageous to my preferred lifestyle (I'm not someone who loves to rush through things if I can help it), but I take my commitments very seriously, and always give appropriate notice if I need to change my schedule. On the flip side, not having a packed calendar means that I can often accommodate changes in scheduling that my clients request (this usually becomes less so around the busiest times of the academic year).
