A photographer/retoucher who is keen to photoshop

I have studied Photography (Film & Digital) since 2008 and have an Associates and Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography as of December 2015 from Brooks Institute. I have had instructors who are influential names in the industry and have colleagues who are well known in and out of the photography industry.

I have minimal experience in tutoring, besides assisting other photographers, although I am good at one on one relationships when teaching people new things. I am interested in tutoring since I know there are quite a few students out there who want to know more.

In Adobe Photoshop I am very enthusiastic and like to find a new approach to the same task every time. Testing out different methods I find to be very rewarding in the long run so I have a good memory of where the functions are. Adobe Lightroom is a rather simple cataloging system for photos and I know how to D.A.M. to make sure photos are where they need to be. Other applications on Windows I know rather well like Word and Powerpoint since I have been using Windows my whole life. I know little of the MacOS but have used them before so I can only help so much there, but that does not mean I cannot help in Photoshop or Lightroom on MacOS.

Since I am better teaching kinesthetically and visually I will usually have my laptop with me to show any student a side-by-side look at how to start or complete their task. I have found that rather than just saying my instructions it is good to have a visual representation of what to do like most classroom settings.

I would feel good knowing that I helped someone with an issue's they are having behind the camera or in post production. I think it is necessary to help others complete tasks that are either work or for fun. Creative work is where I would say I stand out but I can also help with technical work such as lighting setup, product placement,etc.
