Students need to be provided many opportunities to learn and use new skills. Not all students fit the textbook model. Each students needs to be looked at as an individual with his/her interests in mind. Students should be made a part of the planning process in the tutoring program. They know where they are weak and what skills they need to work on. Giving them the power to help plan provides them with confidence that they are important.
I look forward to helping your child grow during the coming months.
