I'm Noah! I just graduated from the University of Southern California with a 3.98 GPA in Biology, and have extensive experience tutoring students of all ages—from high school to college-level courses. I specialize in test prep and STEM subjects, and I want to help people do well on a test that can be really frustrating and demoralizing (The MCAT!!!)
I scored a 1600 on the SAT and a 526 on the MCAT—both on my first attempts—and I’ve been tutoring since high school. At USC, I was hired by the university to lead a year-round prep course for Physics II, where I led learning and created worksheets with college students weekly in a structured, collaborative learning environment. I’ve also tutored one-on-one in subjects ranging from AP sciences to college chemistry, both as a peer tutor and independently.
When it comes to MCAT prep, I think focusing on strategy and efficiency is the best approach. After experimenting with different study methods over several months, I developed a self-guided "learning cycle" based off psychology and personal experience. This "learning cycle" method helped me retain massive amounts of information and score better than I ever hoped. I believe most students don’t need expensive prep courses -- they need technique to help them retain information and avoid burnout. I can help you build a study plan that works for your learning style, maximizing the amount of free and low-cost resources possible (like I did!)
I’m here to support you every step of the way! I also offer a free 60-minute session to discuss your goals and show you a bit of what I can help with.
