I currently work in higher education and have held positions at three universities across the country (in DC, Alaska, and now Washington state). I am passionate about helping learners from all walks of life navigate the sometimes overwhelming process of applying to their first job, graduate program, or college. I understand how daunting the unknown can feel because I have navigated it myself, and I aim to make the process clearer and more manageable by providing concrete steps, strategies, and guidance tailored to each student.

Through listening carefully and working collaboratively, I help students develop strong applications, resumes, CVs, and personal statements, and I provide support for interview preparation. I have had the privilege of seeing hundreds of students take the next step in their academic and professional careers, from high school juniors and seniors applying to college, to traditional and nontraditional college students, to those applying for graduate or postdoctoral programs.

My approach is supportive, practical, and results-focused. I work with students to break down complex application processes into clear, actionable steps, helping them feel confident and prepared. I want to demystify the process and share the strategies that have helped many students succeed, so they can navigate their future with confidence even in an uncertain job market.

I served as a Career Development Coach for 2+ years, helping students and recent graduates navigate the job search and application process. I guided learners on resumes, CVs, cover letters, applications, and interview preparation, providing practical strategies and actionable steps. I have worked with undergraduate and post-graduate students, including first-generation and nontraditional learners, helping them clarify goals and confidently take the next step in their careers.

College Counseling

I have served on a College Admissions Team and have experience helping students navigate every step of the college application process. I have worked in undergraduate admissions, reviewed and analyzed transcripts, and guided students on applications, essays, personal statements, and interview preparation. I have also supported students informally, including helping family and friends successfully apply to colleges. My approach is collaborative and practical, providing clear strategies and actionable steps so students feel confident and prepared to take the next step in their academic journey.
Interview Prep

Interview Prep

As the Associate Director of Pre-Health Advising at my university, I bring experience helping students and early career professionals build confidence and succeed in interviews. I lead a team of advisors and develop comprehensive prep plans, conducting mock interviews for pre-health students as well as across other professions. I have also served on hiring committees for student employees and staff at multiple universities, giving me insight into what interviewers are looking for.
