I hold a Master’s of Education from the University of Washington Tacoma and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Washington Bothell. In addition, I earned Associate of Science degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Opticianry from Seattle Central College, and completed additional coursework at Washington State University. My academic journey has provided a strong interdisciplinary foundation in science and education.

My teaching experience includes a broad range of subjects and educational environments. While serving as a student teacher at the Career Academy at Truman Campus, I taught chemistry, geography, mathematics, robotics/coding, career training, and postsecondary preparation. I strive to engage students through hands-on learning and differentiated instruction, tailoring curriculum to meet diverse learning needs and interests. My background also includes developing and implementing curriculum in less formal settings, such as mentoring young adults with special needs at Outdoors for All and leading empowerment-focused activities at Mercy Housing’s Girls on the Run program.

I have worked with students spanning elementary school, high school, and young adult ages, in both one-on-one and group instruction. My teaching experience dates back to 1999 and encompasses classroom teaching, individual tutoring, and volunteer educational roles in community settings. Whether providing academic support, career guidance, or life skills mentorship, I consistently draw on inclusive approaches, strong classroom management, and personalized education strategies to help learners succeed.
