I have a teaching degree with a major in K-8 Elementary Education and a minor K-12 Physical Education. I enjoy helping students particularly in Math, Reading. Science. and Social Studies/History. I graduated from Central Washington University in 1990. Since then, I have been a substitute teacher in Central Washington for four school districts as well as a high school assistant track and volleyball coach for one district. I have worked as a professional tutor for both the private and professional sectors. I enjoyed helping students to feel successful with what he/she was learning and to see the smile on their face when they realized that their grade in the particular subject that I helped them with went up.
I am a confident and qualified woman who loves to help students succeed. I am qualified to help with Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, and K-6th Elementary Math. I also am comfortable with helping with Algebra 1 at the 8th grade level. I like to incorporate games when it comes to learning math facts so that students have an easier time remembering them.
