Alex is the best tutor we have ever hired. I reached out to Alex several months ago because my son was struggling in his Algebra 2 honors class. He had an in-person tutor (a high school teacher) who had been tutoring him for several years, but he was starting to fail his tests, and his grade had gone from a B to a D. He was lost. My son has been working with Alex for several months now, and he scored a 96% on his last test. When his teacher handed him his test, he told my son he was the "MIS"... the most improved student. My son often tells me how much he enjoys (!!) his lessons with Alex and what an excellent teacher Alex is. He also calls him “a good dude.” :-) Alex is patient, knowledgeable, clear, encouraging, and effective. We are so glad we found him!

Fantastic honors precalculus/calculus tutor
Alex has helped my daughter understand Honors PreCalculus and AP Calculus. While she had been initially struggling in Honors PreCalculus he helped her to the point she earned an A both semesters. After each lesson he will send a summary of the key points to remember and it was always so helpful. He is a fantastic tutor.

Alex was a great fit for my daughter, she was comfortable with him and really liked how he organized the lesson & answered her questions carefully and patiently. We hired him weekly after our first lesson to prepare her for her NY State Algebra Regents and it was an amazing success. She went from getting 80s and being unsure to getting in the high 90s on her Regents exam. The best part was how confident, calm and clear she was going into that exam. Highly recommend Alex!
