Hi! My name is Alex, and I have a strong academic and professional background along with a passion for helping students learn and grow. I hold two bachelor’s degrees in Business and Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University, and I bring over 8 years of professional experience where I’ve developed strong skills in organization, problem-solving, and communication.
I am currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Elementary Education at Western Governors University, where I am actively building the skills and strategies needed to become an effective teacher. Through this program, I am learning evidence-based teaching methods, lesson planning, and how to support diverse learners.
I enjoy working with elementary-aged students and focus on creating a supportive, encouraging learning environment. My approach is patient, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. I break down concepts into simple, manageable steps and help students build confidence through practice and positive reinforcement.
While my formal classroom teaching experience is developing, I have strong communication skills and a natural ability to explain concepts clearly. I am especially comfortable helping with foundational subjects such as reading, writing, and elementary math, and I am excited to support students in building strong academic skills.
