I have previously tutored intro-level college Spanish students for over a year, and I absolutely loved the experience. I tutored in-person, usually one-on-one or in groups of 2 or 3 students. My students who regularly came to me saw great improvements in their results and confidence. My focus when tutoring is to enable students to achieve long-term academic success. I do this by using tutoring time to work through the most difficult and/or important concepts, providing study plans and strategies, and sharing personal anecdotes about how I found success. My other focus when tutoring is instilling self-belief and confidence in students. These are vital for long-term academic success.
