I am currently a junior at Gonzaga University double majoring in biochemistry and applied mathematics. Currently, I work as a research assistant at Gonzaga. My research entails synthesizing macromolecules that can serve as important biomarkers can be used for medical-imaging techniques that can diagnose neurodegenerative diseases, like Alzheimers.
In between studies and research, I also tutor students of all ages and academic backgrounds, from fifth grade to high school seniors. I have been tutoring the same clients for almost a year now. Given my proficiency in interdisciplinary studies, I have the fluidity in teaching STEM subjects such as math, biology, physics, and chemistry. I am currently studying programming languages such as C++ and Python so I may hopefully be able to teach that one day.
