I am an experienced professional tutor and writing consultant specializing in writing, rhetoric, and the humanities. I am a PhD candidate and writing consultant at a top graduate university with over ten years experience at university writing and rhetoric centers. I have also worked as a copy editor and proofreader for a professional online academic publication. I have worked with high school students, undergraduate students, graduate students, and professionals offering a wide range of skills including writing consultations, embedded tutoring, copyediting, proofreading, presentation preparation, and test preparation. I am proficient in all stages of the writing process including brainstorming, outlining, structure and organization, revising and editing, and polishing for submission. I have a great deal of experience working with ESL/ELL/ML international students of all ages from around the globe including China, Japan, Kores, Mexico and Latin America, and Arabic speaking countries. I have experience in application preparation including college admissions, grants and scholarships such as Fulbright and NEH, and graduate program admissions. I am also experienced in conference submissions and presentation preparation. I am familiar with the application process for various study abroad programs and have studied abroad and conducted research in England, Wales, Ireland, Iceland, Mexico, and across the united states.
