I have worked with students of all different backgrounds and learning challenges, and have come up with unique solutions for each of my students to ensure they are able to learn effectively.

What I love most about tutoring is the spark on a child's face when that understanding sets in and that moment of pure joy when a new concept begins to click. I think that each and every child deserves the opportunity to have these moments, and unfortunately in large classrooms setting that just is not realistic. That is the magical part about tutoring for me. Getting that one on one interaction with students and being able to explain and make connections in a way that makes sense personally is so crucial to learning. I am very excited to provide your child with that experience!

I have studied science throughout high school and have continued to pursue a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry from Linfield College. I have worked in a laboratory setting under the guidance of professors working on independent research projects for 2 years. I also worked last summer as a lead teacher of the Pacific Science Center's Camp for Curious Minds, putting together and delivering engaging STEM material for elementary age students.

I have volunteered for the SMART readers program in McMinnville, Oregon for 2 years, reading to younger students who are struggling to read.

I have played the clarinet since the 6th grade, participating in band throughout school and continuing into college where I am the principal clarinet in my college band. I also participated in the Everett Youth Symphony Orchestra throughout High school, where I spent 3 years as the principal clarinet.

I understand that time are rough at the moment. I urge parents to reach out and help keep their ki
