I’m Lisa. I graduated from Teachers College in China majored in Chinese linguistics. Chinese is my native language. I had taught Chinese in middle schools with Chinese Teacher Certification for 7 years in China. Since I moved to America, I have continued to engage in teaching Chinese Mandarin for 20 years, and have taught students from kindergarten to adulthood.

Very Thorough Instruction
Lisa did a great job of incorporating both dialogue and the four tones. Dialogue is so important because that is what helps students learn in context. I know this because I am a language teacher myself. I learned Spanish as a second language, too. Mandarin will be my third language so having a teacher that understands the importance of connecting tones and dialogue is wonderful! Lisa was also patient, friendly, and rigorous. I feel confident that I will learn a lot from her!
