Hello! I am a Magna Cum Laude graduate from WWU where I studied Elementary Education and Special Education. I have spent 6 years in Kindergarten, first grade, and 5th grade classrooms. I am very familiar in Elementary Education subjects. My passion is helping students find their scholastic interests and building confidence in their reading, writing, and math skills.

Additionally, I have experience tutoring entry level Japanese, English, Essay Writing, Public Speaking, and Reading from previous high school and college courses. I love reading and writing, and have spent numerous hours helping edit essays for high school and college courses, and college entry application essays for family, friends, and classmates.

One thing I love about tutoring is it allows students of all ages to receive additional time to learn materials and receive individualized help from someone. This is an amazing way to study and learn something new!

I have experience working with multiple elementary curriculum that are aligned with the Common Core, and making personalized activities for students that align with Common Core standards. This allows students to access new learning in a way that will help them better understand the material they are learning in school, and is still directly related to the state standards.

I love writing! Whether it be for research, persuasive, or an essay focused on a singular literary topic, I have experience writing college level essays for English, Public Speaking, Biology lab reports, and analytical reflections for multiple teacher preparation courses. I additionally have experience teaching students who are learning how to write simple sentences, as well as skills for using details from a text to support your reasoning in elementary paragraph responses.

If you are interested in a tutoring session, please let me know! I have a flexible schedule for online sessions and am very familiar with Zoom, Skype, and Google Meets.
