I recently graduated with an Associate degree in Computer Science, marking a significant shift in my career trajectory. Before college, I spent two decades in logistics and retail, drawing valuable training experiences from these fields. Additionally, I am proud to have served as a post-9/11 US Navy veteran. Returning to academia after such a lengthy hiatus was a challenging yet enlightening journey. It highlighted the distinct differences between adapting to a new professional role and grasping academic concepts. During this transition, I greatly benefited from tutoring, which gave me insight into the common obstacles many encounter in learning new material. My goal now is to offer guidance and support to those facing similar learning challenges, fostering a nurturing environment that emphasizes the importance of continuous learning and effective strategies for being a lifelong learner.
