There I majored in psychology and minored in education and community regional development. I then moved to Philadelphia and became an elementary school teacher and received a Masters in Teaching. I taught kindergarten for two years and 1st grade for one year, working with both special education and general education students. Currently I am pursuing a graduate degree in school psychology with a focus on literacy development and socio-emotional learning. I am an engaging, caring, and data- driven tutor who aims to make learning fun and relatable. I work with students from Kindergarten to 6th grade to strengthen their phonics, reading, writing, math and socio- emotional skills, prioritizing understanding over memorization. I believe that these foundational skills are crucial to student success in and out of school. Education opens doors and I am excited to partner with you and your child to help them open as many doors as possible!
