I am a passionate tutor and teacher with expertise in the fields of history, social studies, economics, political science/government, and writing. I graduated from the University of California, Davis with a major degree in History and minor degrees in Economics and Political Science. While there, I tutored my English learner peers in Writing through the UC Davis Tutoring Center and was awarded high honors for my history honors thesis on reform in the 19th century Ottoman Empire. I earned my teaching credential and Master's in Education at UC Davis as well. I am now a Social Studies teacher with four years of experience, experience teaching the subjects World History, United States History, Economics, Government, and Writing, and experience teaching grades 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12. I have designed multiple curriculums from scratch with the aim of pursuing specific education goals. As a tutor, my primary goal is to teach students the necessary skills for them to be able to develop in their respective fields.
