Kevin was the absolute best tutor I have ever had. His passion and knowledge of organic chemistry turned chemistry from my worst subject to my favorite. I sought a tutor for organic chemistry 1 after I did not do as well as I had hoped on my first test. After going through a few tutors, I found Kevin was the most insightful and patient teacher. He helped me so much that I never got anything below an A on any test I took after finding him. I also managed to get a 99 in organic chemistry 2, which is considered one of the hardest courses at my university. He always explained the why behind every answer, so I was not memorizing the material but actually understanding it. I even added a chemistry minor in hopes of taking organic chemistry 3 just to have another semester with Kevin as my tutor. He caught mistakes that my teacher would make while grading my tests and gave such thorough responses to all my questions. Kevin receives and deserves my highest recommendation!

Enthusiastic, responsive, and super thorough
Kevin has been a fantastic organic chemistry II tutor for me throughout the whole semester. He always shows up to the session excited to teach and his enthusiasm is contagious. He creates a comfortable learning environment and knows the points in a lesson where students may get confused. He anticipates these learning opportunities and teaches you before you even know you need it! He is very responsive through message as well so that you can ask him questions in between sessions. His explanations are incredibly thorough and he will help you understand why reactions happen the way they do. This is a critical part to doing well in organic chemistry; you must go beyond memorizing reactions to making connections between them and understanding the underlying logic that you see played out in various mechanisms. Kevin is truly a 5 star tutor and I would recommend him to anyone trying to succeed in an organic chemistry course.

Best Tutor Ive Ever Had
Kevin has quite literally changed the Orgo game for me. I was very worried at the start of the course and he immediately quenched all of my worries by helping me prepare for the class ahead of time with book recommendations and tips and tricks to do the best I could in this course. I always came out of our sessions with great understanding and no confusion. I don't even know how to explain it but the way he teaches information allows it to click right away. He helped me finish with an A+ in Orgo 1 and I currently have a 100% in Orgo 2. He goes into great depth without taking up too much time and really understands what he is talking about. He is very engaging and I always learn so much when I meet with him. People from across the room can definitely hear me saying "OHHHH I GET IT" when he goes over topics with me. Thank you Kevin!!!

Who knew that a tutor could engender such enthusiasm for Organic Chemistry. My son. has already benefitted so much from his work with Kevin. He is so thorough and pushes him to work on problems outside of tutoring with study sessions with peers.
