Great AP Chemistry Teacher!

Great AP Chemistry Teacher!
Annapurna is a great Chemistry tutor and I cannot recommend her highly enough for AP Chemistry or any other Chemistry class! My daughter who is striving for a 5 on the AP exam absolutely loved working with her. Annapurna has been helping my daughter for the past several months. After researching tutors' backgrounds for a lengthy period, we finally found Annapurna and had a great initial conversation with her. It was clear that Annapurna was well qualified not only in teaching the subject matter, but also in her knowledge of the AP Exam and process. Although the AP Exam was several months way, my daughter began having general sessions with Annapurna to strengthen her overall knowledge of the subject matter to help her in class. Annapurna was extremely organized and thoughtful in her approach to teaching the subject matter. Annapurna's strengths are (i) she is extremely knowledgeable in the subject matter; (ii) she has great experience in teaching remotely and has a variety of visuals which assist her in teaching which is important in a subject like Chemistry; (iii) she is very strong at allowing her student to think and talk through ideas instead of just presenting vast amounts of difficult materials; and (iv) her focus in teaching is to get her student to understand the underlying concepts, which ultimately translates into better academic results. I have two younger sons who will eventually study with Annapurna as well. She is a standout in the tutoring field!

Dr. C is a very patient tutor getting to the root of the issue by asking my daughter some smart initial questions. She spent time listening to the types of problems from the teacher and had some sample questions to work through. My daughter felt confident taking her quiz the next day.

Dr. C is the best! She is able to guide students in a way that draws their knowledge from them and builds upon it with her expertise of the subject. She get my introverted student speaking up and participating fully in lessons. In our first 2 lessons with her (for a Chem mid-term), my daughter learned so much! Her confidence in the subject matter grew exponentially and she achieved an A on her mid term. Dr. C cheered with us at the results! She’s an excellent, EXCELLENT tutor.

Fantastic Tutor!
I have had Dr. C for 2 units of chemistry now, and I have made perfect marks on both tests with her help and teaching. She explains difficult concepts in ways I can understand without skipping out on any complexity and oversimplifying ideas. Dr. C also open to my questions and answers them thoroughly, and she also provides study materials and FRQs for application of the concepts she teaches. She is definitely one of the reasons I have an A in AP Chemistry. If you are struggling with AP Chemistry and are reaching for an A, I would recommend Dr. C as your tutor.

Dr. C is an amazing AP chem tutor! She not only covers current class information but she also helps you move ahead to ensure further understanding while learning it in class. She helps with homework and test review, and will be helping me study for the actual AP test as well. She is easy to talk to and understands where you are as a student and a person. I highly recommend her as your tutor!!
