Bio

I’ve always been passionate about STEM and computer science, and I love helping students discover the same excitement. I’m a college student with a 3.99 GPA and extensive coursework in computer science, physics, and calculus. I’ve also worked on hands-on projects, from building AI-powered apps to creating responsive websites, which I enjoy sharing with students to make learning practical and engaging.

I began teaching as a ninth-grade volunteer with Mighty Coders, guiding elementary and middle school students through coding projects in Scratch and JavaScript. I eventually became a lead mentor, teaching classes of 10+ students, helping them troubleshoot problems, and building confidence in their abilities. Working with students of varying skill levels taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting my approach to each learner. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into understandable steps and showing students that mistakes are a natural part of learning.

Beyond classrooms, I’ve tutored one-on-one, mentored hackathon teams, and participated in STEM outreach through programs like the Computer Science Honor Society and Technology Student Association. My goal is to help students not only master material but also develop curiosity, problem-solving skills, and confidence. I combine clear explanations, interactive practice, and real-world examples to make learning meaningful, engaging, and fun.
