I graduated from the University of Washington Seattle with a Masters in Teaching for Mathematics. I wanted to go into teaching and am currently a highschool math teacher. What I enjoy about tutoring and teaching is the interaction with the students and the accomplishments of what they are able to learn from you. What I think is important about tutoring is not just helping the student in the content material of what they're struggling with, but also help them build up study skills, so they are able to utilize those skills in college.

Hence, my goal is not just helping the student get a good score on the SAT/ACT/AP test or a strong GPA in the class, but to also help build a set of skills and confidence within themselves, so the student understands that they are capable of doing well no matter what class or test that they face in the future. Knowledgeable and Patient Tutor

Brian has been a great help to my son in AP Calculus. My son was struggling with some of the concepts and needed to turn his grade around and do well on his semester final. Brian patiently worked with him and truly helped his confidence and his grasp on Calculus fundamentals!

Before Brian started working w my son on his math he would struggle w understanding the concepts and have difficulty getting through all of his weekly homework. Well Brian has not only changed that and made it easier for my son to understand the assignments he has also somehow managed to help my son appreciate and even enjoy working on Math. We would highly recommend Brian to any student needing some extra help and support! We will without a doubt continue having Brian tutor our son for as long as he is available to do so!!!!!
