Hello! My name is Anne, and I am a native French speaker from Paris. I graduated from the prestigious Lycée Henri IV with Honors in Paris and hold a Master’s degree from a leading French business school. My academic journey and professional background in consulting and banking have given me both rigor and creativity, which I bring into my French tutoring. I am proud to have guided all four of my children into McGill University in Montreal, an achievement that reflects my ability to support learners in reaching ambitious academic goals. Born and raised in France, I have always been passionate about the French language and culture. My 20 years of international life across France, the US, Spain, Turkey, and Canada have strengthened my ability to adapt to all types of students.
I have taught French to learners of all ages and levels. At the Lycée Français de Madrid, I worked for three years with children aged 6 to 14 from diverse nationalities, teaching in classroom groups and tailoring lessons in reading, grammar, dialogues, and writing to their needs. More recently, I volunteered in Toronto for three years to support high school students preparing for the French Bac, working one-on-one with each learner to focus on literature analysis and exam strategies. All of my students made substantial progress and excelled on the French Bac, with written exam scores of 18/20 or above and oral exam scores reaching 19/20.
My lessons combine clear explanations, structured practice, and engaging cultural insights, covering grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, literature analysis, exam preparation (French Bac, DELF, AP French), homework help, business French, and translation. I also hold a Toastmasters certificate, which helps me guide students in improving their public speaking skills in French.
