My passion is to guide aspiring data professionals and help them understand what it takes to become a successful data analyst or data scientist. Additionally, I have some experience working in the consulting industry, so I highly value the importance of communicating results to others with clarity, and turning data analysis into actionable insights that solve real business problems. I am well-versed in standard data analytics tools such as Python, SQL, R, and SAS. I have also used many data visualization tools at work such as Tableau, R Shiny, and Power BI. In my free time, I have most recently worked on developing a web application/dashboard using Streamlit and webscraping skills.
Even though I have prior experience in the data world, I like to talk to my mentees with an open mind and see if I can also learn something new from them. I believe in creating a supportive and fun learning environment that is aligned to each student's interests and needs.
