Starting all the way back in 2011, I picked up a love for teaching, coaching, or otherwise facilitating in a variety of fields. In both high school and college, I coached and taught a variety of outdoor recreation skills and sports (including esports). During my undergraduate program at Washington State University, I was an teaching assistant for the English department and student mentor for people in a variety of academic programs. It was there that my love for teaching was realized in the most general sense; it is not only fun and fulfilling to help others learn, but it is one of the best tools to help learn myself!

One of my favorite aspects about teaching is getting to connect with students. For me, it is easier to learn when I am able to interact with a teacher or coach one-on-one, and as such I do my best to form that same one-on-one connection.

I graduated with a degree from the English department at Washington State University. My experience ranged from essay writing, to blog or even script writing, where grammar and diction were my strong suits. I took a specialized publishing and editing workshop, and helped edit multiple theses for other students/professionals.

I have also had years of experience in creating, editing, and delivering presentations. My public speaking skills are some of my strongest of any. I have given tours, workshops, and lessons to groups as large as 50 people, and presentations of up to 300 people in multiple different jobs.

Although my degree was through the English department at my university, my focus was on Multimedia Authoring. Much of my coursework entailed graphic design, animation, and general art skills. I have been using Photoshop since 2010, and similar programs such as Adobe Illustrator. Additionally, 3D animation became a specialty of mine as I took extra courses in it and even became an teaching assistant for the animation classes. My experience in animation also extends into video editing, as I have worked on every aspect of the film-making process for b

Animation

Animation

I have taken multiple years of animation courses, and have done animation work for a public library and a university. I was also an teaching assistant for an animation lab and helped students with every part of the process in 3D animation video production. My animation work has been used as an example for showcasing at my old university.
Computer Gaming

Computer Gaming

I have been playing games of a variety of consoles for over two decades, especially on the PC. Competitive gaming has been of particular interest since 2003, especially with RTS and MOBA games such as Starcraft, League of Legends, and Dota. I coached Starcraft 2 and League of Legends, and was ranked as high as Masters for Starcraft 2.
Public Speaking

Public Speaking

I have worked as a tour guide in both an urban and wilderness setting, emceed events of up to 300 people, and led workshops and classes in a higher education setting. I have also taken classes in acting/theater and performed in a number of plays. In my most recent relevant experience, I worked as an urban Park Ranger where I regularly engaged in public speaking at community events.
Track & Field

Track & Field

I grew up running as a member of a Track family (all of my immediate family members were at least D1-level athletes, coaches, or both). Due to injury, I was unable to personally compete at these levels but have officiated for NCAA track meets, and have trained with D1 athletes/coaches.
