Had one session with Ryan so far. It went very well and we have more planned. His knowledge is a given, he has a PhD in math, but he was also patient, engaged, prompt, flexible, and affable. He is also quite accommodating with scheduling and is prepared when the session starts. I thought I had no chance of passing my abstract math final, but I killed it (and graduated!) after a few sessions with Ryan. I've never used wyzant before so I was a bit nervous, but Ryan was able to solve problems on the spot and explain them in a digestable way. the best tutor around
Ryan is extremely knowledgeable in Haskell, programming concepts and mathematics (and many other things). It was hard to find someone who knew Haskell and could explain it well, and I would have definitely failed my class without him. He is very patient, understanding and kind. 10/10 tutor and person in general. Will be working with him again in the future and would highly recommend him to others.
