I have over eight years of experience tutoring and mentoring students in anthropology, public health, research methods, and statistics. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology with a minor in Medical Anthropology and a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University. My academic background includes several ethnographic and qualitative research projects exploring how culture, disability, and environment influence health outcomes.
I served as a Teaching Assistant at both The George Washington University and Johns Hopkins University, where I worked with undergraduate and graduate students in courses such as epidemiology, public health communication, and data analysis. I have also guided students through the development of research proposals, capstone projects, and theses, helping them refine their questions, interpret results, and communicate their findings clearly. Many of my students have achieved improved grades, completed research projects with confidence, and developed stronger analytical and writing skills.
My approach is grounded in inclusion, empathy, and social justice. I believe that every student deserves a learning environment that values their strengths and supports their challenges. I work comfortably with both neurodivergent and neurotypical learners and use a trauma-informed, flexible teaching style that adapts to each student’s goals. Academic success is not only about mastering material but also about building confidence and learning to think critically.
I strive to make complex ideas approachable and meaningful by connecting theory to real-world examples. My goal is to help students gain the clarity, confidence, and independence they need to excel. Whether you are preparing a research project, strengthening your writing, or learning how to analyze data, I am here to help you succeed with patience, structure, and encouragement.

I offer a free 15-minute consultation for new students to discuss goals and learning styles before our first session.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology with a minor in Medical Anthropology, and I have conducted several ethnographies and qualitative research projects exploring health, culture, and identity. My teaching and tutoring experience spans over eight years, including working as a Teaching Assistant at Johns Hopkins University and The George Washington University. I specialize in helping students understand complex anthropological theories, research design, and qualitative methods in a way that feels accessible and relevant. I take an inclusive, student-centered approach that supports diverse learning styles and encourages critical thinking through the lens of social justice and lived experience.
Career Development

Career Development

I have spent the past several years helping students navigate their paths into higher education, from high school to college and from undergraduate to graduate programs. I was trained as a student career coach at The George Washington University, where I supported students in identifying their strengths, preparing applications, and building confidence in their professional goals. My approach is inclusive, supportive, and focused on helping students find clarity and purpose in their academic and career decisions. I believe that every student can succeed when they feel seen, respected, and equipped with the right tools and guidance.
Thesis Writing

Thesis Writing

I have extensive experience mentoring students through the thesis writing process across public health, anthropology, and related social science fields. With advanced degrees (MPH, MBA) and a strong background in qualitative and quantitative research, I support students in refining research questions, organizing literature reviews, and building clear, impactful arguments. I'm skilled at helping students improve their writing style, data interpretation, and adherence to formatting and citation guidelines. Whether you're starting from scratch or refining your final draft, I provide collaborative and judgment-free guidance tailored to your needs.
