What I love most about tutoring is being able to help a student expand their knowledge; knowing that I have a positive impact on the student(s) is a great feeling to bring home with me everyday. With my psychology major, I plan on getting my teaching certification as well. I love to spend time around kids, and being able to pass on my knowledge is a plus.
There is only one correct answer to every equation, but there are multiple ways to get there. I believe that there is not an absolute, correct way of solving the problem. Everyone has their own way of getting things done, and I support that.
I majored in Psychology in college and loved it! There are really no right or wrong answers in this field, creating long discussions of the matter.
I learned English as a second language, but did not go to ESL. I have the patience and direct way of teaching. I understand how difficult learning a second language can be, for I have been there. I taught bible studies as a youth minister at a Catholic Parish throughout college.
I can speak, write and read Vietnamese fluently.
