I hold a Ph.D. in Biotechnology, a Bachelor of Science in Agroindustrial Engineering (Food Science), and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. For more than fifteen years, I have taught and mentored students in both classroom and one-on-one settings at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Throughout my academic career, I have taught subjects including biology, microbiology, statistics, experimental design, and scientific research methods while supervising undergraduate and graduate research projects. I have also worked with children through my psychology training and have experience adapting my teaching style to different ages, learning needs, and educational backgrounds.
My approach to tutoring focuses on helping students understand concepts rather than simply memorizing information. I enjoy breaking complex topics into manageable steps, identifying where students are struggling, and building their confidence through practical examples and guided problem solving. Whether a student is preparing for an exam, improving grades, completing coursework, or developing research skills, I tailor each lesson to their individual goals and learning style.
In addition to my teaching experience, I have worked as a researcher and project manager in academic and industrial environments, allowing me to connect classroom concepts with real-world applications. I am passionate about helping students develop critical thinking skills and become independent learners. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to foster curiosity, confidence, and a lasting appreciation for science and learning.
