My educational background includes a B.A. in Political Science from Central Washington University in 1992. I earned a tutoring certification while I was in college, and practiced tutoring for about a year. I worked as a tutor/mentor through Americorps for approximately 6 months. I was a Registered Behavior Technician for several years and was a Certified Behavior Technician in good standing for 8+ years, until late 2024.

I worked for the last 8+ years as a Behavioral Therapist, the last 7 with the same family. During that time, I had many opportunities to observe and assist the learning process. I learned a wide variety of skills and techniques to help learners grow and succeed. I have a proven track record of success in helping others learn.
I greatly enjoy teaching, especially in a 1-on-1 environment. I am competent at teaching reading, writing and math to early learners, but my true passion is teaching political science, history and government to more advanced students.

Great Tutor

This is only my second session with Tracy, and I must say she is a wonderful tutor and very knowledgeable, she takes her time and explains things very well. She very understanding and also fun and will keep you interested when it comes to learning. If you're like me and struggle with leaning Tracy dose a great job with helping you to understand and make learning enjoyable. I'm really looking forward to more sessions Thanks again
