As an ESL teacher ... I am patient! And mostly, I understand the difficulty of learning and mastering a second language. I keep things innovative. I won't sit with a student and read to them, nor go over countless work book activities. I believe in interactive, fun learning. I also welcome and encourage student feedback. I want to know your goals and I want to know your opinions. I view the teacher - student experience as a collaboration. In the arena of proofreading and writing, I have plenty of experience. I have written countless essays, term papers, book reports, ... you name it. I have an eye for it and would be happy to help you develop one as well.
I provide the tools it takes to be a successful test taker and effective "study-er". I understand that everyone has a different learning style, so I teach accordingly. With a psych background, I am conscientious of the fact that each learner is different, and I am motivated to find the best way to help each individual reach their goals.
I played soccer for most of my life and I love the game.
I offer a fresh twist on studying and learning. I hope to hear from you and be a part of your success.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
