Math has been my favorite subject since I was a kid. I used to solve problems in my head just for fun. But calculus is what truly hooked me. Suddenly math wasn't about finding x anymore. It was about describing how the real world works.

Math has been my favorite subject since I was a kid. I used to solve problems in my head just for fun. But calculus is what truly hooked me. Suddenly math wasn't about finding x anymore. It was about describing how the real world works.

I've been teaching math for 17+ years, from pre-algebra through calculus. In India, I coached students for the IIT entrance exams, among the most competitive exams in the country. Since moving to the US, I've coached hundreds of students for the AMC, Math Kangaroo, and SAT.

I mostly work with middle and high school students. I love their questions, even the unexpected ones, because they show me exactly where a student is stuck.

My approach is simple. I teach the logic behind the math, not just steps to memorize. Once a student understands the "why," the fear goes away, and the results follow.

Subjects I teach: Algebra 1 and 2, pre-algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, probability, permutations and combinations, and complex numbers.
