I've been a classroom teacher for over 10 years, teaching English, AP Literature, and Philosophy. I've worked with high school and college students with a variety of skill levels. I specialize in AP Lit test prep (both multiple-choice and essays), essay writing and review, and close-reading/text analysis.

I have over 15 years experience teaching high school English, Philosophy, and AP Literature (most recently at Cleveland Humanities Magnet), as well as a curriculum advisor for the school district. I worked with a variety of students with various skill levels. I was often specifically given struggling students in my AP Lit classes, with a goal to raise their incoming assessment score by at least 1 by the end of the year, and I had about a 70-80% pass rate on the AP Lit exam. I have many years of experience helping students with their college application essays, term papers, or other reading and writing assignments. I can also help to support college students with their essays and term papers.

**Please Note:** 6 hour notice is appreciated for cancellations/rescheduling, but will be accepted up to 2 hours prior to meeting time without penalty.
