General Math
Great depth & understanding of subject matter. Patient while I grasped an understanding for myself. Worked to allow me time to work and rework problems. I appreciate his insight.

Good tutor!
Had a great first lesson. Good communicator. Knowledgeable, professional and patient. Helped my son with his pre-calculus homework. Plan on using him again.

Makes my daughter feel like she's "got it"
Joshua thinks ahead and comes up with new ways to present a concept so that, if it was hard to get in class, he is showing it to my daughter in a different way that clicks. The other thing I have noticed is that he is checking comprehension at every step of a problem - asking "okay, and why do we know that is true?" or "now what if that were a negative, what would be true instead?". He does it in a comfortable and non-scary way and my daughter feels prepared!
