I am a native Italian speaker, born and raised in Italy, and a graduate of the Università degli Studi di Torino, where I earned my degree in Humanities in 2022. My studies focused on Italian literature, Romance philology, linguistics, Italian language, and the history of the Italian language, giving me a strong understanding of both the structure of the language and its rich cultural background.
Teaching has always been a passion of mine. While living in Italy, I regularly tutored elementary and high school students, helping them with homework, grammar, reading comprehension, and writing. These experiences allowed me to develop patience and the ability to adapt my explanations to each student’s needs and learning style.
Since 2022, I have been working as an online Italian tutor with students in the United States. I work primarily in one-on-one sessions with learners of different levels—from beginners discovering Italian for the first time to adults who want to improve their fluency or reconnect with their Italian roots. Many of my students study Italian for travel, personal enrichment, academic goals, or preparation for exams.
My teaching style focuses on creating a comfortable and enjoyable learning environment. I believe that students learn best when lessons are engaging and when they feel confident practicing the language. For this reason, I like to structure my lessons as interactive conversations rather than traditional grammar-only classes, integrating grammar naturally through dialogue and real-life situations.
My goal is to help students build confidence, improve communication skills, and discover the beauty of the Italian language and culture.
