I know what it feels like to be stuck or unsure in school. I know what it feels like to be stuck or unsure in school. I started with the GED myself and went on to graduate summa cum laude in Philosophy with a 3.99 GPA, so I’ve been on both sides of that struggle. What helped me most was learning how to break big, intimidating subjects into smaller steps that actually made sense. I want my students to understand the "why" beneath each solution to whatever problem they are trying to tackle
That’s the approach I bring to tutoring. I focus on writing, critical thinking, and test prep, but really it’s about helping you feel more confident in your own work and voice. My sessions are practical, supportive, and tailored to your needs, whether you’re prepping for the GED, tackling an essay, or trying to manage tough college coursework. My goal isn’t just to get you through assignments, but to make learning feel a little more doable and even satisfying.
My background also includes: Political Science, Logic, Communications, Interviewing & Resume work (from my years of recruiting/HR work), and broad (though not deep) understanding of psychology and therapeutic approaches.
