New Tutor with Engineering Background; Working in aerospace industry

I have a BSc. in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, MSc. in Industrial Engineering, and Master's in Data Science from UC Berkeley. I used to be a part-time tutor early in college.

I am Propulsion Engineering Lead at a leading aerospace company. I do risk analysis, heavy statistical work, and develop methodologies to analyze complex propulsion systems. I have led multiple projects to reduce defects, rework, and travel in assembly by analyzing defect data, performing root cause analysis, and implementing training. I work with Research & Technology and Manufacturing Engineering teams, providing support and data. Additionally, I have experience as a Lab Services Engineer, where I performed vibration and environmental stress tests, collected data, performed statistical analysis, designed and built complete control systems using relays, switches, sensors, and PLCs to control testing and production equipment, and implemented continuous improvement in the lab and on the production floor.

My technical skills include CATIA, Creo Parametric 3D Modeling, SOLIDWORKS, Monte Carlo Analysis, Minitab, Tableau, SQL, PLC Programming, MySQL, Arena, JMP, MATLAB, Python Programming, R Studio, and MS Office (including MS Access, MS Project, MS Visio). I have core competencies in Quality Management System, Lean Manufacturing, Analysis and optimization of operations and production systems, Production planning and control, Additive Manufacturing/Rapid Prototyping, Design and development of parts, and design and setup of various automation and electric systems for product testing.

Whether working one-on-one or in a group, I take a hands-on approach to teaching STEM, using real-world examples and interactive activities to bring these subjects to life.
