Hi! I received my B.S. in Elementary Education with a K-8 credential, a Master's in Technology in Education, a 5th-12th grade math credential in WA State, and am pursuing a Doctorate in Administration in Education. I teach 4th grade currently but tutor part-time in all HS math levels. I took Honors math as well as AP science classes all through high school. I was an AVID tutor for 3 years as well as a personal tutor for elementary school students in my area. I was raised by a teacher and have been teaching for 5 years. I love tutoring because it gives me a chance to help a student reach their full potential.

I like when my students ask questions to keep me on my toes. I am always open to learning new ways to approach a problem. I love learning, and I want to help students feel the same. The moment when you finally understand a problem you were working on for a while is a very good feeling. I hope to unlock that in all my students.

I always make sure I break down the problems first and then try to teach around 3 different ways to approach the problem. I always make sure I know a student can complete a problem on their own before I move on to the next subject. I'd rather we spend a while on something you are truly struggling with then jamming every problem into an hour session.

I'm always on my phone or laptop doing my own homework, so feel free to contact me. I will get back to you as soon as possible. I am free on weekdays at night but can work around your schedule if need be. I would prefer online tutoring because I drive a lot as it is for my main job, and it helps the student feel more comfortable in their own environment.
