Hi, I'm Jenny! I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Utah Valley University and earned my Associate of Science in Mathematics with honors. My tutoring journey started in high school as a calculus teaching assistant, where classmates sought my help because I could break down complex concepts in ways that made sense. This led me to work in Utah Valley University's Math Lab, tutoring fellow college students throughout my undergraduate years.
Over the past decade, I've tutored hundreds of students from age 11 through adults in one-on-one and small group settings, both in person and online. I've worked with middle school students learning foundational concepts, high school students tackling algebra through AP courses, and college students mastering calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, and statistics. My teaching approach focuses on building genuine understanding rather than memorizing formulas. I learn how each student learns best, what motivates them, and where they've gotten stuck.
