In middle school I piqued an interest for photography, it started with taking photos of my friends and miscellaneous things I found interesting. It developed into a passion. I started waking up at 5am every morning to take pictures in my yard with the sunrise. I'd spend all day photographing animals and people. In middle school I piqued an interest for photography, it started with taking photos of my friends and miscellaneous things I found interesting. It developed into a passion. I started waking up at 5am every morning to take pictures in my yard with the sunrise. I'd spend all day photographing animals and people. All this hard work definitely paid off because looking back I can see tremendous amounts of progress. I started with my cell phone, worked up to an old cheap DSLR, and now have some decent camera equipment. No matter the price of your equipment, I know how to utilize it.
As my passions branched out from a less general thing to more specific ones, I found my favorite avenues. Portraits are definitely my niche, whether its of an animal, person, or place. I love the stillness and beauty in a simple portrait. They remind me of paintings. Something else I've learned about myself over the years when it comes to photography is
Three years in photography classes, one of which is A.P. allows for credibility
Participating in photo competitions gives me an eye for self criticism
Collaborating with other photographers allows me to see multiple artistic perspectives
Five years using photoshop has allowed me to test the limits of its' tools
Professional photoshoots has given me experience in exploring those avenues
Shooting a variety of subjects and artistic categories with different forms of equipment means I can help you advance in photography regardless of what your goals are
Please feel free to message me with any questions, it's never a bother. Teaching photography is something I love doing, and spreading the knowledge so other's can enjoy photography as much as I do is very meaningful for me. I look forward to working with you!
