Reading and writing are two of my greatest interests. As an avid reader and creative writer, I enjoy helping students strengthen comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and written expression while learning to think critically about what they read. My tutoring style is patient, practical, and individualized. I use students' existing textbooks and assignments, break challenging concepts into manageable steps, and focus on helping them become more confident, independent learners.
Photography is another passion. I taught photography to adults through Green River College's continuing education program and digital photography and art to elementary and middle school students. I can help with DSLR settings, composition, lighting, and photo editing in Adobe Photoshop. I also enjoy helping students and adults learn everyday computer skills, including Word and PowerPoint.
