I am a patient, encouraging tutor with a mix of real-life teaching experience, professional business experience, and a strong background in communication-based subjects. I attended Green River Community College, where I majored in Psychology, and I earned an Associate in Applied Science degree in Business Management from Renton Technical College. I currently homeschool my daughter in kindergarten in all subjects, which gives me daily hands-on experience teaching early reading, writing, handwriting, spelling, and vocabulary in a one-on-one environment. I was also a teacher’s assistant at my son’s school from 2nd through 6th grade, where I worked closely with students and supported classroom learning across multiple grade levels.

I tutor grammar, spelling, vocabulary, handwriting, reading, writing, and cosmetology. I especially enjoy helping students grow in confidence in reading and language arts by making lessons feel clear, supportive, and tailored to their individual pace. I know that every student learns differently, so I focus on being flexible, patient, and encouraging while helping them strengthen both skills and self-confidence. My goal is to make students feel comfortable asking questions and proud of the progress they make.

Along with my teaching experience, I am also the founder and sole proprietor of a successful e-commerce retail business, where I have built strong skills in organization, communication, and problem-solving. I also have extensive professional experience in salon management, beauty wholesale, and beauty retail, which gives me a strong foundation for tutoring cosmetology. As a salon manager, I trained staff, handled daily operations, and worked in a leadership role that required both technical knowledge and the ability to teach others clearly. I bring that same supportive, practical approach into tutoring, and I love helping students feel more confident, capable, and motivated to succeed.
