Hey! I’m an experienced math and computer science tutor with a passion for helping students become independent, confident learners. I’ve worked with students ranging from elementary school through college, with years of experience in both one-on-one private tutoring and leading small groups of 5–10 students in professional settings. I’ve also volunteered as a tutor throughout high school and college, which has shaped my commitment to making learning accessible and supportive for every student.
My teaching philosophy centers on a simple goal: to give students the tools and mindset they need so they eventually don’t need me anymore. I focus on building strong problem-solving habits, breaking concepts down into clear, manageable steps, and reinforcing the “why” behind each idea so students can apply their knowledge independently.
I’m highly observational in my approach and prioritize understanding the person behind the student—not just their academic performance. By adapting to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals, I create a learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making real progress.
I offer tutoring in a wide range of subjects, including elementary math through college-level calculus, SAT/ACT math, AP Computer Science, and introductory (100–200 level) college computer science courses.
