As a graduate of the University of Washington Tacoma with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, my journey into the world of education has been shaped by my deep-rooted passion for coding and technology. With a strong foundation in programming languages like Java and Python, I've spent over five years honing my skills and knowledge in this dynamic field. I've also earned the PCEP Python certification, which has enhanced my expertise and solidified my commitment to the subject.

My foray into teaching and tutoring began over a year ago when I discovered the joy of helping others unravel the intricacies of coding. My approach to teaching is founded on the idea that understanding comes through hands-on experience. When I tutor, I provide students with practical examples and walk them through challenging coding problems step by step. Along the way, I ensure they grasp the underlying concepts and principles, so they not only complete the task at hand but also gain the knowledge to improve their future coding endeavors.

During my tutoring journey, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students, but the majority fall within the college-age bracket. From beginners taking their first steps in coding to more advanced learners seeking guidance on data structures, I've tailored my teaching to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual. Most of my tutoring sessions have taken place online, where I engage in one-on-one interactions, creating a focused and personalized learning experience. However, I've also gained valuable experience teaching in a physical classroom setting, where I've had the opportunity to instruct and inspire a larger group of around 30 students. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the various challenges and triumphs that come with teaching, and I'm committed to nurturing the next generation of coders with the same enthusiasm that drove my own educational journey.
