Once you start to develop confidence in working on the problems in an error free manner, we continue to the next progression or to higher levels of difficulty depending on what the course requires from you.
I have tutored students in subjects ranging from Algebra and Statistics through Calculus 3. Teaching is my calling, and I find great satisfaction and joy in seeing the students understand mathematics and improve their confidence in working through math problems.
Professionally, I served as a tour of duty in the United State Marine Corps. After my four year hitch, I attended college at the State University of New York at Albany and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Applied Mathematics, a Master degree from Columbia University Teachers College in Mathematics Education, and a Doctorate from Walden University in Mathematics Education. I have served as a high school mathematics teacher, a high school principal, a college mathematics professor, a college grants director, and a tutor. My spouse of 40 years and I live in the state of Washington with our Husky “Star Scream” and our Border Collie “Canelo”.
