If you do not enjoy learning and studying, then success will be hard to reach. I keep the experience casual and changing, preventing boring episodes that undermine learning.

I graduated from the University of Washington in Business in 2013. I am young and passionate not burned out. I have decided to pursue tutoring because I get much pleasure from it that I have not found in business.

Would you rather learn Spanish by someone who grew up speaking it or by someone who had to learn it as an adult the hard way? I have been in your shoes and made the same mistakes that you are likely making or will make.

Each lesson is concierge style of teaching. Because I am younger I can relate to many of the younger students better and I bring a fresh approach to the table that is well over due.

I have traveled in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru learning Spanish. I have lived in Colombia for a total of two years. While there I was teaching English to all types of people from toddlers to business executives. During my time in Colombia I was also perfecting my Spanish and took classes each day with a private tutor and lived with a family that only spoke Spanish.

I was always the one in class that took a little longer to figure things out. I failed out of my high school Spanish 12 years ago, but now I have become fluent thanks in part to my Colombian wife and my own discipline of studying regularly.

With the right mindset, motivation, and teacher, it can be done even for the most challenged students.
