I am currently a sophomore at Rice University, a top-20 research university in Houston, Texas, where I am pursuing a double major in Mathematical Economic Analysis and Business Finance with a 3.96 GPA. My academic background gives me a strong foundation across mathematics, economics, history, English, and computer science. Before college, I demonstrated mastery of these subjects by earning a 35 on the ACT and scoring 5's on eight AP exams, including AP Calculus AB, AP Computer Science A, AP English Language and Composition, AP US History, AP European History, AP US Government, AP Macroeconomics, and AP Microeconomics.

My tutoring experience began in high school, where I worked one on one with fellow high schoolers across all levels of high school math, from pre-algebra and geometry through precalculus and calculus. I also worked with middle school students on foundational math concepts, helping them build the confidence and problem-solving habits they needed to succeed at the next level. My approach has always been to meet students where they are, identify the specific gaps holding them back, and work through material in a way that actually makes sense to them rather than just repeating the same explanation louder.

Beyond content knowledge, I bring a genuine understanding of what it feels like to be a student under pressure. Whether a student is preparing for the ACT, working through a tough AP course, or just trying to pass their next math test, I know firsthand what it takes to perform at a high level. I am patient, adaptable, and committed to making sure every student I work with leaves each session feeling more capable and more confident than when they arrived.
